steam whistle

Our largest sculpture project to date, "The Steam Whistle" is a 5,300 lb steel beast located in downtown Redding, California. This public art was created as a tribute to the city's timber, steel, and railroad industry history. Every Friday at 5 pm, the trio of whistles goes off signaling the weekend transition that occurs downtown when worktime becomes playtime.
