Jason Wright, modus studio partner and principal designer, recently attended FOOTPRINT+ in Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom. While there, he presented the Anthony Timberlands Center for Design and Materials Innovation project alongside Matt McCullagh from Grafton Architects at the AR Future Projects Award Winners Presentation. Jason and Matt accepted awards for Overall Winner and Education Category Winner on behalf of the partnering design teams while discussing sustainable construction practices with editor of The Architectural Review, Manon Mollard. The project was the only North American project recognized. Judges described it as a "tremendously accomplished piece of architecture and a great building in which to learn about timber technologies."

FOOTPRINT+ is an annual three-day event where every sector of the UK property industry unites to discuss state-of-the-art methods to reduce carbon emissions and build the relationships necessary to help put them into practice. The AR Future Projects Award is a recognition from The Architectural Review, one of the world's leading architectural publications, and acknowledges design excellence in unbuilt and incomplete projects.
