Modus Shop is often asked to fabricate the custom details on Modus Studio projects when a high level of craft is required for proper results. In some cases, this can even include furniture. This pair of benches, designed and fabricated for the lobby of The Cardinal, were built using two book matched slabs of locally sourced oak. Inset flush into the surface of the wood are ¼” blackened steel plate legs in a striated pattern across the length of the benches.
