Matthew Price, AIA

architect

Matthew Price is from the greater Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania. He moved to Fayetteville recently to experience the natural beauty of Arkansas. Being an Eagle Scout, he has always had a passion for the outdoors and respect for nature. After graduating from the Catholic University of America in 2009, he worked for a fabrication company which produced rock walls for rock climbing gyms across the United States. In 2011 he went back to school to pursue a Master of Architecture at the Temple University School of Architecture in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to further his career goal of becoming a fully licensed architect. He graduated from Temple University in 2014 and has been working in the field of architecture ever since.

Thus far in his career, Matthew has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of architectural projects, including but not limited to high end residential, commercial, hospitality, municipal, educational and senior living with projects located in dense urban environments to mountain retreats. He has functioned as both part of the design team and a lead designer, and has had a leading role in all aspects of the design process, beginning with conceptual design through documentation and construction evaluation. He particularly enjoys being part of the construction process. “Watching an idea physically manifest itself into existence may be the single greatest aspect of being part of the architectural profession.”

In his free time, Matthew enjoys running, climbing, drawing and experiencing the great outdoors.
