Marie Graham

executive assistant

Marie is an executive assistant at modus studio and provides vital and robust support for principals and other members of the leadership team. Her communication and organizational skills are critical to keeping the wheels in motion on special projects in our fast-paced, ever-evolving collaborative studio.

Marie grew up between Tulsa and Grand Lake, Oklahoma, and has spent most of her adult life living in Denver, Colorado. She has a degree in sociology from Regis University in Denver. After graduating, her passion for nature led her into the outdoor industry, where she was active in the snow and scuba diving communities. She gained essential knowledge in land protection practices, such as Leave No Trace, and also earned various scuba diving certifications.

Marie came to modus studio due to her curiosity about our work. She grew up with a father in construction and architecture, which gave her an appreciation for the specific type of beauty and functionality she discovered in modus’ projects around Northwest Arkansas, especially at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve. As a child, spending time with her father usually meant building things. If something needed to be done, they did it themselves. They built their family cabin, piece by piece, from the foundation to the fabrication of the beams. Upon moving off to college, Marie even helped her father build or refurbish the furniture she needed.

Marie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Nathan and her dog Kira. In her free time, she can be found traveling to new places, hanging out on the ski slopes with friends, exploring underwater in dive gear, working on her camping trailer, cooking, and generally just searching for some fun.
