white county central construction begins.

Sep 01, 2023

We are proud to announce the beginning of construction on a significant project at the White County Central School District in Judsonia, Arkansas. This project involves the replacement of an aging classroom building with a new 7th and 8th-grade classroom facility and dining hall.

The 25,000-square-foot classroom building is thoughtfully designed to provide a more optimal learning environment for the students of White County Central. It features ten classrooms, a fine arts room, a music room, a science lab, and various administrative spaces. One of the critical design objectives was to maximize natural light in each classroom and corridor, which was achieved by using large storefront windows and roof monitors. In our commitment to enhancing the student experience, our interior design team focused on acoustical dampening in both the classroom building and the dining hall, ensuring an environment conducive to focused learning and enjoyable dining. The exterior features an economical brick pattern that adds depth and shadow play to the facade. The brick pattern was also employed as a captivating art installation along the walls of the interior corridors.

The official groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for September 19th. Nabholz Corporation is the general contractor. We look forward to working with the entire design, construction, and client team to deliver exceptionally designed spaces for the students and staff at White County Central School District.
