architecture at zero award.

Dec 05, 2016

Competitions give us the freedom to explore ideas and experiment. They help to drive our profession into the future. Each competition entry we do leaves us with new approaches to design and often new skills and tools to put into practice.

Modus Studio, along with the energy design team at Viridian, is excited to announce that our “Piezein Circuit” design for the Architecture at Zero competition won the 2016 Professional Citation Award. This international competition challenged teams to create a zero net energy student housing complex with 784 housing units on the San Francisco State University campus.

Congratulations to our design team and the rest of the competition winners!
