Sterling Frisco

fayetteville, arkansas

Flanked by historic art deco bridges spanning the Frisco Railroad ravine to the university beyond, Sterling Frisco is a new mixed-use housing project composed of compartmentalized tower forms. The tremendous mass of the project is carved in a contrasting strategy of warm planes of brick, stucco and cedar on the principal facades, contrasted by purely white stucco forms against the green edge of the Frisco Trail. The incomparably walkable location sits poised as the first prominent beacon for trail-oriented development in the heart of the city.
