Rachel Filgas, Assoc. AIA

designer

Rachel grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana, and later Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she enjoyed making things, literally anything and everything she possibly could. She has always strived to know how and why things work. It was during some engineering courses in high school that she discovered her passion for architecture.

Rachel graduated from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design, and during her time there, she focused her attention on community-driven design. She is fascinated with the impact that the built environment can have on a community, and with how people engage and interact with one another within a space. She has quickly proven to be a vital member of the modus team, providing an encouraging level of enthusiasm and a unique perspective on design.

Rachel spends her free time playing music, skateboarding, baking, and writing paronomastic phrases. She is a jack of all trades, master of pun.
