Julie K. Chambers, AIA

architect

Julie is an Arkansas native who grew up around the scenic Buffalo River National Park. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1999, and since then has worked with world-renowned architects, regional and local architects in Arkansas, and as a construction manager and site superintendent. As a result, she has a very diverse background in both building design and construction. Her work includes commercial offices, five-star and fast-food restaurants, healthcare, public schools, university facilities, and custom private residences.

Julie is passionate about creating environments that engage both mind and body. She believes the fundamental elements of art (color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value) inform our perceptions and provide ways to connect architecture to the individuals and communities they touch. She believes our contribution to the environment has a profound impact on our daily functioning, and that we can choose to provide spaces that are smart, comfortable, and beautiful.
