Site, materials, color, form, space, time, observation, solid, void, transparency. These are just a few words that cross my thoughts when architecture is mentioned. These elements combined with dedication, hard work, and analytical curiosity help to bring theoretical architecture into physical reality.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas, School of Architecture in 2006, I had the honor of working with 3DG Inc, a design-build firm in Rogers, AR. While there, I learned to integrate the skills of a designer with those of a craftsman, by participating in the entire design and construction process of several custom residential projects from conceptual design to completion. I was later able to translate the skills learned at 3GD into my own work, managing and constructing projects both locally and throughout the Mid-South. Working on my own enabled me to experiment with various design and construction techniques to create innovative solutions to real world problems.
Since joining Modus, I have continued to add to my skill set through working with other architects and designers. We each bring our own unique talents, but through collaboration and teamwork, we are able to deliver projects that meet the needs of clients in a creative and effective manner.
