Cory A. Amos, AIA
As a student and a professional, my work has centered on urban design. I believe the built environment plays a vital role in constructing a truly sustainable future through social, ecological, and economic means. Where and how we live, work, learn, and play dramatically effects our society, our economy, and ultimately our happiness.
I earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture in 2009. After graduation, I worked at the University of Arkansas Community Design Center (UACDC) for five years. My time there was spent researching, teaching 4th and 5th year studios, and engaging communities across Arkansas in an effort to leverage design towards economic development, with emphasis on low impact development, complete streets, neighborhood rehabilitation, and multifamily housing.
I joined Modus Studio in June 2014 with the desire to bring urban design expertise to the scale of architectural projects. Modus Studio’s desire and ambition to not simply be a part of the community, but to build it, drew me to this talented team.
